Down on the Farm!

Our kiddos love animals, especially FARM animals!  So, this week, we are taking a trip to the farm to learn about the animals, the crops, and everything else we might see on a farm!  We did some fun craft projects with cows, horses, and pigs rolling in the mud!  And of course, we can't forget the corn and scarecrows!

I love these visuals they created as they talked about farmers and learned more about the farm!

We also enjoyed some sensory bins with mud and hay! 

I always love a fun craft that pulls in Math!  One classroom made a tractor from basic shapes and another classroom did a counting activity with carrots!

The 3 year old room truly felt like a farm with the barn they created and all the neat projects going on in the room!

Our letter of the week was "J".  We are getting anxious about pumpkins around here- can you find the "J" on the vine?
