Spring has Sprung!

Hooray for some warmer weather!  The children spent this week learning about Spring.  They talked about how the weather changes as it warms up but also brings some wind, rain, and of course rainbows.  To practice matching up numbers, they did an activity with umbrellas.  Using 10 raindrops, the children put them in order from 1 to 10.  They also played a game where they pretended to jump from puddle to puddle.
Comparing the different seasons as they learned about Spring
They also made kites so that they could observe how the wind blows.
Making his very own kite and then trying to fly it!

The Pre-K class made parachutes by decorating a napkin
and then attaching it to a toy with strings.
What a neat way to observe the wind!
For their cooking project, they made flower biscuits that had jelly in the middle.  Delicious!
Of course we can't forget the letter of the week!  "G is for Goose"!
