Arrrghhh!!! We have had quite an adventure this week as we have been pretending to be pirates! The children have had a great time creating pirate gear to wear, making pirates, and even making their own Treasure Chests! Isn't she the cutest pirate you've even seen?!
We also had some fun movement activities! One class "Walked the Plank" while counting by 10's! Of course, a game of "Pin Me Eye Patch On" created lots of laughs!
The Pre-K class talked about why pirates wear an eye patch. There responses were pretty cute!
Our letter of the week was "t". Several classrooms made "t is for tiger" and one classroom decorated their "t" with the shape of the week!
