Plants & Flowers

Since April showers, bring May flowers, we are getting ready this week!  We've learned all about the parts of flowers, the different plants we eat and have even done some really neat art work!

Insects & Bugs

We're getting BUGGY!!!  Our Pre-K class was super brave and had some fun with worms!

The 3 year old classroom learned about the body parts of a bug and talked about the characteristics of an insect.  They also learned some fun facts about fireflies! 

For our cooking project, we made Dirt cups with worms (edible ones, no worries!).

Animals in Spring

Spring time already?! What a perfect time to talk about Animals in Spring!! All of the kids learned that all those animals that were sleeping for the winter are waking up and ready to eat. The Pre-K class even saw a real caterpillar on the fence. This week even our Waddlers and Toddlers got into the Spring mood and made bird feeders using pine cones.
